Studying at SDE

Programmes designed to develop solid competencies, guide career choices, explore interests and nurture passions.

Studying in the Department of Sociology and Economic Law means acquiring the tools to understand society, institutions and economic legal systems through the dialogue between sociology, law and economics.

Our degree programmes enable you to develop the competencies needed to analyse social, legal and economic phenomena, design policies and services, understand how institutions function, and tackle major contemporary challenges: social inequalities, welfare, migration, changes in the world of work, technological innovation, sustainability, market regulation and public governance.

The programme is delivered at the Bologna and Forlì  campuses and combines research, interdisciplinary approaches, international experience and collaboration with institutions, businesses and third-sector organisations. Internships, service learning, international mobility and advanced training programmes enable students to put their acquired knowledge into practice and tackle real-world problems.

Build your skills after high school

Bachelor’s degrees generally last three years and provide foundational training, while second cycle/two-year master’s degrees last two years and build on this foundation, allowing students to deepen and specialise their knowledge.Learn about our Bachelor's degrees and second cycle/two-year master's degrees
